MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane)
MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a natural source of Sulfur and necessary for the production of Collagen. MSM is easily aborbed and used by the body and is one of the major building blocks of glycosaminglycans. Glycosaminoglycans are key structural components in cartilage that play an important role in the maintenance of joint cartilage. Glucosamine and Chondroitin help incorporate the sulfur into cartilage. Sulfur is also the dominant component of connective tissue and bone. Sulfur is important to maintain joint health and improve bone density. Sulfur helps build cartilage, tendon and bone. Powdered extract of Green Lipped Mussel that we use in our goCBD treats contains very high concentration of omega-3s and a unique combination of fatty acids that is not found in any other marine or plant life. Studies have also shown that they are used in order to reduce pain, and they can act as a feeding stimulant. However, their greatest healing properties correspond to the fact that they are a natural anti-inflammatory due to them being an excellent source of glucosamine and chondroitin.
